Dr Nick Taylor is a Senior Emergency Specialist and has been the co-Director of Emergency Medicine Training at the Canberra Hospital for long enough that his cultural reference jokes are now two generations out of date. He is the Director of Resuscitation for Canberra Health Services. He is Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) at Australian National University Medical School and has a passion for medical education. He has an interest in curriculum innovation and medical decision making.

Nick is the creator of Time Critical Medical Education (www.ticme.com.au) a free critical care education website. He dabbles in research on shark bite first aid.

He has close ties to Sri Lankan emergency medicine and has been enriched by the friendships and EM networks he has been so lucky to be part of.
