Dr Scott Brennan
Professional Bio
Scott is an Australian Olympic gold medalist, having competed in three Olympic games (Athens, Beijing and London) while completing his medical degree and early clinical training years as an intern and resident. After injury ended his sporting career prior to the Rio 2016 Olympics, Scott worked in critical care in the fields of emergency and anaesthetics before commencing a clinical hiatus in 2022 to focus on raising two young children.
Scott provides individualised performance coaching to elite athletes, corporates and doctors, helping them grapple with the challenges inherent to their fields with a focus on building a broader foundation of capacity from which to launch ever-higher efforts of performance.
In his spare time Scott regularly engages with youth work centered around successful transitioning from teen to adulthood and runs a 40 acre property on the outskirts of Canberra in line with regenerative agriculture principles – dreaming of one day having the time and energy to be (mostly) self sufficient.
