Dr. Radecki is a specialist emergency physician in Christchurch, NZ, and holds certification in Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics in both the United States and in Australasia. He additionally holds advanced degrees in Health Informatics, and has completed an Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality training program in Patient Safety. He is best known for his work in critical appraisal and knowledge translation, publishing a popular blog (EM Literature of Note) and, previously, Twitter feed. His academic contributions include podcast and journal club editor for the Annals of Emergency Medicine, in addition to a variety of original research projects in informatics and quality improvement. He is the author of nearly 50 peer-reviewed articles, while likewise publishing a similar number of educational pieces in ACEPNow, the Official Voice of Emergency Medicine. He is also a recognised international speaker, with over 70 invited talks on three continents.
