Professional Bio
Peter Archer is an emergency physician at Royal Children's Hospital and Eastern Health in Melbourne. He is a retrieval physician with Ambulance Victoria and is part of the Field Emergency Medical Officer Program in Victoria. He holds academic appointments as Clinical Associate Professor with University of Melbourne and Charles Darwin University, and is a WHO Emergency Medical Team mentor for the Indonesian Muhammadiyah Disaster Medical team.
He has previously held roles as Medical Director of Disaster Response with the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre and had prior overseas and local deployments with AUSMAT, USAID/Aspen Medical and the FEMO program.
