Julie is a descendant of the Palawa people from the northern shores of Tasmania.
Born in Melbourne on Wunundjeri Country she has had a life long cultural connection with nature and understands how essential it is to the wellbeing of First Nations people.
Now living on Quandamooka Country in Brisbane, Julie’s family and her work is key to her waking up every day smiling.
With a 50 year career in health, her highlights include working and travelling to remote communities across Australia and sharing her knowledge and wisdom with the young ones.
Julie has a long list of qualifications which clearly identifies her as an insatiable learner, and she happily inspires those who work beside her.
Her favourite message for her patients : “We must never stop believing that beautiful things can happen even in the times of chaos”
