Professional Bio
I am an Emergency Physician who has trained in South West Sydney and am currently the DEMT at Campbelltown Hospital and have previous held the role of clinical lead in ultrasound. I am a POCUS enthusiast who holds several CCPUs in addition to a graduate diploma in clinical ultrasound and advanced echocardiography. I am a faculty member on several advanced emergency ultrasound and procedure courses with affiliations to the Australian Institute of Ultrasound, Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, and STRESS Cadaveric Procedures course. I have developed and coordinate our local ACEM CPD and ASUM CCPU accredited POCUS course, SonoTown. I have a passion for ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia, and have conducted local research, and published literature articles and textbook chapters on this subject material. I am also an active member of ACEM's Emergency Department Ultrasound Committee and have developed the introductory and procedural guidance modules as part of their recommended POCUS accreditation pathway.
