Colleen Taylor is an Emergency Consultant at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) in Perth, Western Australia (WA).  She has a passion for Geriatric Emergency Medicine (GEM) and completed additional rotations in geriatric medicine during her emergency training.  Colleen is the medical lead for the ED Falls Pathway at FSH working collaboratively with Geriatricians and Allied Health to deliver front door Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA).  She is also the supervisor for the GEM Registrar Special Skills Placement established since 2017 and an adjunct lecturer on geriatric emergency medicine at University of Notre Dame.  In addition to being a previous ACEM GEM Network Executive member she is also working with an inaugural WA falls specialist interest group to encourage development of an evidence-based best practice approach for patients presenting to acute care post fall.
