Diversity and inclusion in emergency medicine are essential components of providing high-quality patient care. This session will highlight the critical role of addressing unconscious bias in this field.

Trainees thrive under pressure…. managing shift demands, developing new skills, study, completing WBAs. Added to this is meeting the expectations of DEMTS/Supervisors!

 

This Workshop will explore:

1. Different approaches to problem solving that influence interpersonal actions and responses.

2. How educational literature describes a concept called ‘’feedback literacy’’ that can maximise the effectiveness of feedback given and received.

3. Strategies /tools to support working with your DEMT/ supervisor (how to manage up!)

 

To support this workshop is a panel of Supervisors/Senior clinicians….to answer questions and share the ‘in the tearoom’ thoughts about situations trainees face.
